Ok, so it may not look like much, but this is a purse/bag I crafted from an old pair of overall shorts that I used to love wearing but that no longer fit (and not just because I'm 6 months prego either...). Anyway, the glue you see next to it is something I've fallen in love with. It's fabric glue and it's washable. I've mended a couple pairs of jeans with it and it holds up pretty well if I do it right. That's all I used to make the purse, no sewing or pinning or anything else, so I guess we'll see how long it holds. One great thing though is that if it gets a hole or something, I can just glue it again!I'm feeling pretty great right now, I forgot what a nice feeling I get when I accomplish something that I set out to do (besides cleaning or cooking). So hopefully, this will motivate me to get with it and finish up some other things before our little one arrives...three months to go :)
